Intellectual Property Policy

Pre-existing Intellectual Property:
Design Associates Northwest respects the intellectual property ownership rights of our clients. To help preserve those rights, we generally enter into a mutual non-disclosure agreement with new clients prior to exchanging proprietary information of any kind. We have a standard mutual non-disclosure agreement , or you may provide your own.

Newly Developed Intellectual Property:
Under our normal contractual arrangements, Design Associates Northwest engages in "Work for Hire". Ownership of all intellectual property that is developed within the bounds of an agreement with a client is transferred to the client upon completion of the contract and receipt of final payment.
